The wind blowing, the snow in my dreams.
As I awake, the sun reminds me that though I am broken and far from home, there is a light, and I am not alone.

Settle me, inside my dreams, when my eyelids aren't all I see.

We're reminded how nice the cold was, by the scorching summer heat.
We're reminded how nice the rain sounds, when we can't find a way to sleep,
And I know this will be back soon.

And we've fallen far, from our creations.
And we've lost sight, of our destination.
We've lost ourselves in time, becoming selfishly blind, to the pain of the ones we love, avoiding what we should become.

Take me back to the days of old, when I grasped a lighter soul.
When I still had my fresh start, not weighed down by a brain and a heart.

Take me back to days so old, let the rain reclaim my soul.
Let the rain fall over my new heart, Mother Nature granting me restart.
